ELLWOOD CITY GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCATION GIRLS’ CONCESSION SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

 

GUIDELINES

Home

 

1.     The student must have participated in the Ellwood City girl’s softball league for at least 6 years (3 years in the Youth League).

2.     The student must be a senior at Lincoln High School.

3.     The student must have applied, been accepted, and attend an accredited program of higher education.

4.     The student must submit the general application for the scholarship from Lincoln High School by March 1st of the year of graduation.

5.     The selection committee will consist of the members of the Ellwood City girls softball league board and will be presided over by the Lincoln High School Guidance Counselor.

6.     The selection process will be such that information will be given to the Scholarship Committee about the candidates by the Senior High Guidance Counselor without the knowledge of the names of the candidates by the committee.  The committee will make their selection on the information given according to their selection criteria.

7.     The selection criteria will be:

a.     Academic Record

b.     Activities

c.     Financial

8.     The scholarship committee will determine the number and the amount of the scholarship given each year depending on the finances available.

9.     The scholarship will be awarded at the senior high awards assembly at the end of the school year.
